BANIHAL, July 26: National Conference (NC) District Ramban president, Haji Sajjad Shaheen has demanded proper arrangements for the distribution of ration, LPG and other essential commodities to the people on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha being celebrated next week.
In a handout he said that supply of electricity and water to the people should be made without any interruption and black marketing of essential commodities should be checked during the day of festival.
Shaheen also demanded the release of salaries to casual labourers, daily wagers, ReT teachers, SPOs, Anganwari Workers and employees of all the departments whose salary is pending for last some months.
He also appealed to the authorities concerned to ease COVID-19 restrictions ahead of Eid and allow the people to buy essential commodities from the market.
The NC leader also appealed to the people to follow social distancing and wear a face mask as a precautionary measure to remain safe from the Corona infection.
