JAMMU, Jan 22: BJP State president, Sat Sharma, today said that Panchayat and Local Body elections are the wonderful medium to ensure the reach of public concerns to appropriate platform.
Talking to reporters at Party Headquarters at Trikuta Nagar near here along with
Party general secretary, Harinder Gupta and its secretary Sanjay Baru, he said the “Shakti Kendra Pramukh Sammelan” is a mega endeavour by the party to boost the working of booth level activist clearly having an eye on the approaching Panchayati elections in the State.
He said that presently Booth Sammelans started by the party have been successfully completed in 89 Mandals out of total 124 Mandals taking the slogan of one booth- 10 youth to the very ground level, in which when the activists of different morchas are combined, it reaches to 20 activists per booth. These sammelans will ensure that the six programmes of party be celebrated within the common masses helping to take the party ideology to public.
He also mentioned about the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” which is the collage of feelings of common masses.
Sat Sharma also disclosed that the party has decided to hold “Shakti Kendra Pramukh Sammelan” at K. K. Resorts on January 28 at 10:00 a.m. He said that BJP National general secretary Murali Dhar Rao will attend and address the Sammelan along with all the senior leaders from the State, which will witness the participation of district presidents, Mandal presidents, Morcha presidents along with the Shakti Kendra Pramukh. He said that the “Gram Kendra” and “Shahari Kendra (Ward)” are pronounced as Shakti Kendra, which comprises of three to four Polling Booths. “Shakti Kendra Pramukh Sammelan” will boost booth activists to work effectively for the common masses, he added.
Sharma said that the voice of common masses reaches the top through the medium of booth activists, which has a particular significance in the organizational structure of BJP as the party never works with only the specific eye on elections, but instead it regularly works for the common masses round the year and clock and these sammelans will ensure that the voice of the ground level activist reaches the top leaders so that the genuine concerns of public be addressed promptly.
