JAMMU, Sept 25: Kalindi Nursing Home Jammu dedicated its laboratory to the eminent Sanskrit scholar, late Dr Uttam Chand Shastri Pathak, on the occasion of his fourth death anniversary.
A programme in this regard was organized by Kalindi Nursing Home, in association with Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust.
To promote the Sanskrit language, all the nameplates in the nursing home were also written in Sanskrit. The chief guest of the event was Shakti Pathak, Chief Trustee, Chudamani Sanskrit Institute, Basohli.
Speaking on the occasion, Shakti Pathak said that without the divine language of Sanskrit, the knowledge of Indian culture and traditions is incomplete. “Sanskrit is read as it is written, and many Sanskrit words are used in Hindi and other Indian languages. The vocabulary expands from Sanskrit itself. Humans think through language, and thus, to enrich our thinking language, we must follow the path shown by late Dr Uttam Chand Pathak,” he said.

The youth should also follow the footsteps of the Dr Uttam Chand Shastri Pathak and contribute to the preservation of culture at the state and national levels,” he said.
