JAMMU: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Chaudhary and Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj Abdul Haq today inaugurated Common Facilitation Centres (CFC) at Upper Chakroi and Kotli Rayian in Suchetgarh
Both the Ministers also inaugurated car parking at Kotli Raiyan.
The CFC centre at Upper Chakroi was constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 44.70 lakh and CFC Kotli Rayian was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 37 Lakh. The car parking at Kotli Raiyan was completed with a cost of Rs 10 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, PHE Minister said that the government is making all endeavours to extend all necessary services to people at their door steps and setting up of two CFC in the area is a part of these initiatives.
The Minister, while counting government’s achievements in other sectors, said that several works have been started to improve sanitation and healthcare facilities in the border villages. He said that the schemes launched for welfare of the people are yielding tangible results.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Haq assured that the government is committed for welfare and prosperity of the people by involving them in every sphere of development process. He said that government is also working hard to bring rural development department to the forefront by working in an open, transparent and corruption free manner.
Abdul Haq said that state government under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti has started an era of transparency and accountability in the present system.
