JAMMU, Nov 24: Ex-Minister Sham Lal Sharma gave leadership and personality development tips to the youth in a personality development camp held at Akhnoor here today.
The camp was organized by Friends for Change, (FFC), an organization working for rekindling hope among communities for better future through realization if their rights.
Around 80 youth participated in the camp and interacted with resource persons on personality development, prominent among those include Rajiv Kumar, First Friend of the FFC.
The participants also participated in the group’s discussions and made presentation on the important issues related to youth, society and environment with special focus on personality development of youth.
Sham Lal Sharma, chief guest on the occasion called upon the youth to participate in personality development sports and other co-curricular activities for their transformation into responsible citizens of the country.
He added that youth of a country can make the nation and out of them will be our future leaders, generals, soldiers, teachers and everyone. So there is a great responsibility which lies on the shoulder of youth in particular and organization like FFC and society in general.
He called upon the civil society and Government to support such initiatives for grooming a healthy society and nation.
