JAMMU, Sept 8: A new clinical diagnostic centre in the private sector, under the brand name of ‘Atulaya Healthcare’ was inaugurated today by Minister for Health, Horticulture and Floriculture, Sham Lal Sharma.
Located at KC Complex, Bakshi Nagar, the Centre is equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art equipment comprising of Direct digital X-ray machine, 1.5 Tesla MRI, 640Slice CT Scan Unit, DEXA Scan Unit and a fully automated Clinical Laboratory. An ultrasound machine is ready for shipment as soon as necessary clearances are received from the regulatory authorities. A mammography unit is presently being installed.
Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Health Centre, the Minister said that the Government was keen to provide full cooperation to the private players but in return it expects complete adherence to the set norms to ensure that the people get services from private players at genuine rates.
The Minister also informed that the super speciality hospital in Jammu would be made functional soon.
He welcomed Atulaya Management for opening its diagnostic centre in Jammu and hoped that the management would provide best diagnostic facility to the people of the City.
