JAMMU, Dec 30: J&K BJP vice-president and MLA, Sham Lal Sharma and MLA Mohan Lal Bhagat here today listened to the public grievances during a meeting with over 30 deputations.
A deputation from Muthi Mehra, Akhnoor demanded recruitment in J&K Police.
A deputation from Raipur raised the issue of a link road near Mata Sati Bua Bhajanji Raipur, another deputation from Jadh, Akhnoor raised the issues of Income/OBC certificate and a deputation from Vikram Nagar, Sarwal had the issue of damaged road and iron gratings.
Other deputations were from Paloura Top, Pamposh Colony, Janipur, Karan Nagar, Trikuta Nagar and Gandhi Nagar and they raised the issue of damaged street lights.
Deputations from Pandorian, Mishriwala and Barnai, Raipur presented the issue of lanes-drains. A deputation from Sohal, Akhnoor presented the issue of the rehabilitation for shops.
Sham Lal Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that PM Modi led Union Government is committed to the welfare of the public in all spheres.
He said that BJP has chalked out a schedule to conduct Public Darbars on a regular basis where anybody can approach with the development or other issues and the party leaders will make utmost efforts to sort out the same.
Mohan Lal shared that many of the issues presented by the deputations were resolved on the spot while the written and oral communications with the concerned department officials were made for the rest of the issues for their prompt redressal.
