AKHNOOR, Nov 21: Senior Congress leader and former Minister Madan Lal Sharma, while addressing a series of public meetings at Garh, Talban,Bindre-da-Bagh,Gurha Brahmina (Mohalla ZEO) in Akhnoor Assembly Constituency said that Sham Lal Sharma must be voted to Legislative Assembly to strengthen and watch the interests of Jammu region.
He lauded Sham Lal role in upgradation of schools and bringing major share of Administrative units to Akhnoor constituency . He appealed the people in all the public meetings to support Sham Lal and make him the MLA of Akhnoor by pressing hand button on EVMs on December 20, 2014 to defeat the nefarious designs of anti Jammu forces who always create hurdle in settlement of the issues related to the people living in Jammu region.
He said that both himself and Sham Lal have always strongly voiced for the interests of the Jammu region and remained controversial from outside and within the Party. We don’t adopt double standards and pampering policy but bluntly raise issues which effects the life of our people directly or indirectly added ex-MP.
Mr. Sharma said that the development which Sham Lal Sharma has carried out in Akhnoor is testimony to the fact that we not only speak but also perform on ground. Akhnoor today is one of the model and finest constituency which is growing fastly in light of it being ignored for long time and People of Akhnoor must vote in favour of Sham Lal to complete the pending works and to realize the dreams of people of Akhnoor, Mr. Sharma maintained.
Ex. MP said that Congress will be the part of any future Government in the State and people should send Sham Lal Sharma in State Cabinet with thumping majority , so that their interests are watched fully.
Prominent among others spoke on the occasion includes Ram Dass, Ram Rattan, Mangu Ram Sarpanchs Vikram Singh,Narinjan Singh, Shamsher Singh, Madan Lal and Sub Flail Singh.
