JAMMU, Jan 14: ‘Khand Mithe Log Dogre’ in collaboration with Trinetra Production and SW records here today released Dogri Song ‘Kaden Aao Sade Bede’.
Former Minister, Sham Lal Sharma was the chief guest on this occasion while Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman Team Jammu was the guest of honour while Gourav Gupta and Shwetima Jamwal were special guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Sham Lal hailed the effort of the singer for producing the Dogri song for all generation.
He said the work of the singer will help Dogri speaking people of Jammu region to know more about the language and encourage Jammu people to remain connected to their roots.
He exhorted the singer to work hard to promote Dogri language and culture which is the rich heritage of this region.
He also appreciated the efforts of the ‘Khand Mithe Log Dogre’ for its efforts to revive the age old traditions and preserving the rich ethos of Dogra culture.
Sham Lal strongly advocated for introduction of Dogri subject in the schools from the elementary level.
Speaking on the occasion Zorawar Singh Jamwal appealed the people to keep age old traditions intact and imbibe the same to younger generations.
He further appealed the Government to give due importance to Dogri language.
