UDHAMPUR, Nov 25: Minister for Health, Horticulture and Floriculture, Sham Lal Sharma accompanied by MLA Udhampur, Balwant Singh Mankotia and MLA Chenani, Krishan Chander Bhagat today visited District Hospital (DH) Udhampur to take stock of medicare being provided to the injured of bus accident which occurred at Dudu in Udhampur district last evening.
Mr. Sham instructed the hospital authorities to provide best treatment to the injured.
The Minister interacted with the injured and assured them all help. He said that free treatment to injured would be extended for their fast recovery.
The Minister assured the patients and their attendants that appropriate relief as per Government norms would be given to families of the deceased and injured persons.
He appreciated the efforts of district administration for making all arrangements of relief and rescue and for timely shifting the seriously injured to Chenani, Udhampur, Military Hospital and Govt. Medical College, Jammu.
The Minister and MLAs expressed sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. They also prayed for speedy recovery of all those injured in the accident.
Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chief Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent DH, Dy Medical Superintendent, and prominent citizens also accompanied with Minister.
