JAMMU, Jan 8: All J&K Sad Guru Kabir Sabha (AJKSGKS) has elected unopposed Shamsher Chand as president and Janak Raj as general secretary.
“We are thrilled to announce the name of Shamsher Chand and Janak Raj for the new role as their exceptional leadership skills, strategic vision and dedication to work make them the perfect candidate to drive All J&K Sad Guru Kabir Sabha forward in achieving the goals,” said Joginder Lal Bhagat (former president of the Sabha) while addressing a press conference.
Bhagat said that Shamsher Chand brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role, having previously served as mass leader at State level. During his tenure, he had worked on various instrumental projects in the region resulting into his popularity among youth and senior citizen.
“In his new position, Shamsher Chand will be responsible for his effective working in Jammu province. Both Shamsher and Janak Raj will form village level, block level and district level units for making progressive results and is eager to bring innovative solutions to All J&K Sad Guru Kabir Sabha’s development,” Bhagat added.
Speaking on the occasion, Shamsher said that he is honored to join All J&K Sad Guru Kabir Sabha and excited to contribute to its continued success and confident that his background as social worker will enable him to effectively lead the team and drive the organization towards achieving his mission.
