JAMMU, Mar 31: Sharda Sahasranaam book compiled by Save Sharda Committee (SSC) Kashmir was released by Kanchi Mutt, Shankaracharya in Kanchi Tamil Nadu recently.
Saraswati Vijender Ji , present Head of the Mutt released the book on the eve of 3rd. Aradhana Mahotsam of Saraswati Jayendra Ji. Save Sharda Committee (SSC) chairman Ravinder Pandita who, was invited by the Mutt on this event presented the book in Sanskrit to the Mutt.
Kanchi Mutt has been famous since ages in training Vedic studies to students throughout the world. The head of Save Sharda Committee, Ravinder Pandita again stressed the need of the reopening of Sharda Peeth in PoJK on the lines of Kartarpur Gurudwara. Despite COVID restrictions, thousands of Shankaracharyas followers participated in the Mahautsov that was spread over three days.
The Mutt later invited Save Sharda Committee for annual Shankaracharya Jayanti festival to be held in Srinagar Kashmir in May.
