JAMMU, Nov 29: The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the repatriation of Shantmanu, the 1991 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, who is currently holding the charge of Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, to his parent cadre.

The decision to this effect followed a request from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
“The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved repatriation of Shantmanu, lAS (AGMUT: 91), Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution to his parent cadre on the request of Ministry of Home Affairs,” read an order issued by Manish Saxena, Secretary Appointments Committee of the Cabinet & Establishment Officer.
