Sharda Institute of Computer Edu celebrates Foundation Day

JAMMU, Apr 25: Sharda Institute of Computer Education, Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra Anand Nagar Bohri organised a function to celebrate its Foundation Day here, today.
Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Rector Kathua Campus, University of Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion. While interacting with students she stressed on positivity and said “We should always say that we are doing the best”. She appreciated the glimpses presented by the students of Computer Institute on the occasion saying that education of values is also imparted in the institute. Besides, inspiring students of the institute, she said “We should work together for our nation/ mother land”. She also highlighted that the role of Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra is in right and positive direction.
Dr. Sunil Wanchoo, Dean, Faculty of Sciences and Head, School of Physics, Shree Mata Vaishno Devi University, was the guest of honour. He said “We should not hide our weakness”. He said that often the youth keep thinking about their weaknesses with themselves, it should be that we should express our weaknesses only then they can be resolved. He shared his life experiences and how he turned his weaknesses into opportunities.
While welcoming the guests, Dr. M. K. Bharat Chairman, Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra highlighted the work being done by the Kendra in different fields and in its various dimensions.
Students of the institute presented different cultural items on the occasion. Drauv Kumar, student of the institute spoke on the life and teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Ms. Rasleen Kour, highlighted the sacrifice of Shriya Bhat who saved the Zain ul Abidin from a dreaded disease. Ms. Ridhima spoke particularly on the Sarojini Naidu and in general about the freedom fighters who also played a role in freedom struggle of India. Sahil Kachroo presented “Shiv Tandav” on the occasion which impressed one and all. Certificates were issued to the students who have completed their diploma courses.
The programme was compared by Shriya Raina and Gourav Mehra, students of the institute and coordinated by Amisha Raina, instructor at the Institute.
