Sharma for implementation of Centrally sponsored schemes on ground

POONCH, May 22: Member Parliament (MP), Jammu-Poonch constituency Madan Lal Sharma stressed upon the need of on ground implementation of Centrally sponsored schemes.
He said this while addressing an awareness camp organised by Rural Development Department at Chajjla, tehsil Mendhar.
MP assured that he will take up the issue of compensation of land acquired by Army and taking fence to zero point.
Sharma demanded special package for border people living on LoC in Rajouri-Poonch. He said that he has taken up the issue of providing insurance cover with Government of India (GoI) and awaiting for this favourable action as assured by them.
He added that there is need to improve the quality of education in Government Schools and for this GoI has introduced various schemes like SSA and RAMSA. He directed the officers for proper implementation of the schemes in letter and spirit.
Among others who spoke were Kuldeep Raj Verma, Vice Chairman, OBC, MLC Javed Rana, Sarpanchs and Panchs.
Later, Sharma addressed a series of public meetings in Manjakote and district Rajouri and asked the Panchayat members to link the people with social protection and development schemes.
