Sharma for youth participation in protecting environment

JAMMU, July 6: Chander Mohan Sharma senior BJP leader and State convener of Tawi Andolan today announced State team for Tawi Andolan Yuva Shakti.
The team comprises of Sushpaul Singh as its State president, Rekha Mahan as State vice president and Abhishekh Sharma as State general secretary.
In his address Chander Mohan Sharma said that youth have to play a leading role in society and work as whistle blower. They should raise their voice in case they said any thing is being done wrong to disturb the environment. He stressed that youth participation be encouraged to keep the sacred river Tawi clean and protect its existence which is under threat.
He said more and more youth should come forward in making awareness among the people to keep Tawi clean and other environmental activities, like water conservation, plantation, restoration of ponds in different regions of the State.
Later Mr Sharma also briefed about various activities and programmes launched by the Andolan. He appealed the youth who feel concerned about the degrading of environment to join Tawi Andolan.
