Srinagar, Mar 29: Six delegations today met Centre’s Interlocutor on Kashmir, Dineshwar Sharma, in Tral town of South Kashmir which is worst hit by militancy.
The delegations, who met Sharma in Tral, include locals of Jawbehara Awantipora, Cricket team Mantaqi Eleven from Awantipora, Advocates from Awantipora and three Sikh delegations including Gurduwara Prabandhak Com-mittee Awantipora.
Among these six delegations a local cricket team also met the Interlocutor. The cricket team Mantaqi Eleven from Awantipora, who were carrying cricketing bats, met Dineshwar Sharma. They raised the issue of cricket infrastructure with the Interlocutor. He has assured them help for building the same in the area.
Another delegation that met Sharma was from Jawbehara area of Awantipora, Pulwama. They raised the issue of land that is under CRPF and Army.
Sikh delegation raised the issue of the community including granting of minority status for the community.
