JAMMU, Oct 8:  MLA Akhnoor, Rajeev Sharma today kick started the black topping work of the link road from village Mandrian to Mundh.
While inaugurating the black topping , Rajiv Sharma disclosed that the link road  will be construction at an estimated cost of about Rs 19 lakh.
The villagers urged the MLA to take effective steps for regular and smooth supply of drinking water through PHE Department. Sharma assured the people that he will place necessary instructions to the authorities of PHE Department in this regard.
Addressing the gathering, Sharma lashed out at Congress leaders of the State. He said that they were opposing and creating obstacles in the path of development in the area. “It is unfortunate that State Congress had betrayed the people of Jammu when they were in power and now they are creating obstacles in development’’. He said that he will expose them for their wrong policies during their rule.
He also announced Rs 3 lakh CDF for the development works in the village.
On the occasion, political activists and supporters of the MLA including Suresh Sharma, Sobha Ram, Ram Lal, Shakti Bhagat, Vijay Thapa, Trilochan Dutt, Radhay Sham,  Baldev Raj and Sham Lal were also present.
