NOWSHERA, Sept 25: Vice Chairman of State Kissan Welfare Board and MLA Nowshera R S Sharma today laid foundation stone of two link roads and inaugurated a small bridge in his constituency today.
The MLA, who is senior NC leader during visit to the constituency today supervised several development works and also laid foundation stone for two link roads from Kund to Major Bowali and 3 kms road from Patrada to Hathel. He also inaugurated newly constructed steel bridge at Lial village. DySP Nowshera also accompanied besides SHO Sunderbani Devinder Singh Katoch.
During his visit the MLA also listened to the issues of the people and assured that he would take up the same with the concerned officers. Addressing public meetings he claimed that NC was only party which was committed for equal development of all the three regions of the State. He also asked the people to take benefit of the schemes launched by the Government.
The people projected issues like shortage of ration, kerosene oil, inadequate staff in schools, poor healthcare and power cuts in the area besides inadequate drinking water. Sarpanch Hathal Ram Singh also addressed the gathering.
