Sharma starts new water projects in Chowki Choura

AKHNOOR, Nov 24: Senior BJP leader and DDC member, Pandit Suresh Sharma here today started the work of Rs. 9 crore 70 lakh project under Jal Jeevan Mission in Sulliyan, Ghar Panchayat, Dhanna Jallara and Ghar areas of Chowki Choura block.
Sulliyan dug-well project will have new filtration plant, new pipeline, water tank with two 10 k gallon and two 5 k gallon capacity, pump room etc while Ghar second scheme project will have 10 k gallon water tank, new pump room, new pipeline, sump tank etc.
With completion of these two project village Kanah, Ghar, upper Katwari, Sidhra, Bral Mohalla, Sayoti, Chinayal Mohalla, Bandh Mohalla in Sulliyan village Dhanna, Jallara, Sulliyan Khokra Mohalla and adjoining localities will be most benefitted and a large population will get adequate and regular water supply.
Suresh Sharma, while addressing the people on this occasion said that these water projects are of great significance as these will solve water scarcity problem in many areas and more new projects for the people will also be undertaken in block Chowki Choura in near future.
He said that under visionary PM Modi many development projects are in progress and Jal Jeevan Mission is one such important project aimed at taking water to every house through tap.
AEE Rakesh Gupta, JE Bal Krishan, BJP Mandal president Captain B.D Sharma, Sarpanch Harbans Lal, Sarpanch Chuni Lal, BJP vice president Yashpaul Sharma, Panch Parshotam Lal, Babu Ram, Bishan Dass, Ashok Kumar, Bittu Ram, Sham Lal, Prem Nath, Madan Lal, Sita Ram and others were also present on the occasion.
