JAMMU, Jan 16: Work on replacing the damaged street lights by the new ones has started today at Ward number 36 from Lakkad Mandi and Excelsior Lane.
Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Subash Sharma inaugurated the replacement work amidst the presence of Ashok Khar, Joginder Sharma, JMC officers and others.
It is pertinent to mention here that many street lights of the Ward were not functioning for the long time and the locals had brought the issue to the notice of their Councillor and the replacement work on these street lights has started today wherein all the damaged street lights will be replaced by the new ones.
