Sharma starts work under Jal Jeevan Mission

AKHNOOR, Oct 28: Senior BJP leader and DDC member, Pandit Suresh Sharma here today started work of Rs. 3 crore 21 lakh project under Jal Jeevan Mission in Turgala, Chowki Choura block.
It will fulfil the long pending demand of the people, who have been facing problems in absence of proper water supply system.
This project will have new filtration plant, new pipeline, water tank with 5000 gallon capacity, pumping station etc. With completion of this project, Turgala top Mohalla, Laliya, Ladheri Ruda Mohalla, Partaya Morh, Chowki and adjoining localities will be benefitted and a large population will get adequate and regular water supply.
Suresh Sharma, while addressing the people on this occasion said that the water project is of great significance as it will solve the water scarcity problem in many areas.
He said that under the visionary Prime Minister Narendra Modi many development projects are in progress and Jal Jeevan Mission is one such important project aimed at taking water to every house through tap.
BDC Chairperson Rahul Dev Sharma, AEE Rakesh Gupta, Sarpanch Ravi Kumar, Chowki Choura Market Association president Baldev Singh, Ex-Sarpanch Ramesh Lal and others were also present on the occasion.
