JAMMU, Apr 13: All J&K POJK 1947 Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum called an emergency meeting through video conferencing under the chairmanship of its president Adv. Amrik Singh and it’s general secretary, Sujeet Singh also participated.
The Forum expressed its anguish and resentment over ignoring the POJK Sharnarthi Camp Bastis which come under Municipal limits of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) for not providing basic amenities like essential commodities and sprinkling against anti Corona Virus Pandemic, besides fumigation and Sanitisation in these Bastis at this critical juncture of Lockdown.
The meeting said that maximum residents of these wards belong to labour class and transport profession like drivers. Because of lockdown they are at verge of starvation and need Government support. In this regard Forum president and secretary sent SMS message to Jammu Municipal Commissioner and appealed to intervene and look into the problem.
