Sharp-edged weapon recovered, accused flee

JAMMU, July 22: Police today recovered a sharp edged weapon “tokka”, while the accused managed to flee from the spot.
A police spokesman said that, during patrolling police personnel from Police Station RS Pura got suspicious about the activity of Happy Singh, son of Hazara Singh of Dablhar, RS Pura, who was roaming in the area suspiciously. When asked to stop, Happy fled from the spot leaving behind a sharp edged weapon “tokka”.
A case under FIR number 122/13 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused.
