JAMMU, Apr 22: National Awami United Party (NAUP) president, Sandeep Singh has appointed Shashi Kansal as provincial secretary for Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion Sandeep Singh stressed on the need of empowering women and to highlight their issues.
On her appointment as provincial secretary, Shashi Kansal said there were numerous problems being faced by Jammu people.
She assured not to leave any stone unturned in highlighting the issues of people and in helping women in all possible ways.
On this occasion chief spokesperson, Bupinder Sharma, expressed hope that within coming days more women will joins NAUP.
Vijay Chowdhary and Parveen Kumar were also present on the occasion.
