JAMMU, Nov 11: Reiterating its demand for allocating of funds for implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations in favour of employees of the State Government and pensioners in the ensuing annual budget for year 2018-19, president of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC), Subash Shastri today urged upon the State Finance Minister Dr Hasseb Drabu to fulfill the promise to extend the benefits to State Government employees and pensioners made by him on the floor of State Assembly while presenting this year budget proposal on 11th of January 2017.
Addressing NMC workers meet here, Shastri pointed out that a budgetary allocation should be earmarked so that the benefits of the 7th Pay Commission start reaching to the salaried class and pensioners from April 1, 2018. He said that without the provision of budgetary allocation of next year financial budget, the extension of the benefits of CPC will not be possible to implementation of the 7th Pay Commission decision in the State.
