JAMMU, Apr 26: Shatdarshan Sadhu Samaj in a meeting at Ranbireshwar Temple here today elected Mahant Rishiban Ji and Mahant Ravi Nath Ji as Sabhapati and president of Sadhu Samaj J&K respectively.
The election was conducted under the supervision of Election Officer, Mahant Rajesh Ji.
Later the General House meeting was held at Jamawant Gupha, Peer Kho here under the supervision of Sabhapati Mahant Rishiban Ji and president Mahant Ravi Nath Ji.
In the meeting Mahant Rameshwar Giri, Mahant Datt Giri and Mahant Sarwanand Ji were nominated as vice presidents, Mahant Ram Janam Dass Shastri was nominated as general secretary.
Besides, Mahant Madhavevgiri was nominated as secretary, Mahant Vijaygiri and Mahant Krishna Anand Bharti as Mantris, Mahant Rakesh Giri and Mahant Abhegiri as joint secretary, Mahant Rajnath as treasurer, Mahant Somgiri and Mahant Govindgiri as advisors, Mahant Yogeshwar Nath as Organization Mantri, Mahant Karan Nath as Office Mantri.
While addressing the Sadhu Samaj, the president advised them to join hands and work for peace and brotherhood in the country and welfare of Sadhu Samaj as a whole.
After the vote of thanks Prasad was offered to all the participants.
