Shemrock International School celebrates annual day

JAMMU, Feb 28: Shemrock International School celebrated Annual day today.
The function started with lighting of ceremonial lamp by chief guest Bali Bhagat MLA. School premises echoed with “Saraswati Vandana” by the students.
Annual Report was presented by Principal Bharti Bhardwaj. As Annual function holds theme “colours of India”, students presented- Cultural Item which shows India’s Unity in Diversity. Program started with Saraswati Vandana. Tiny Tots of the school presented various musical items in a glamourous manner and gathered praises from audience. Later on children of different classes danced on various regional songs, praising their motherland especially depicted the colours of India.
The parents highly applauded the students for this diverse cultural item presented on the stage. Some karate items were presented by students with great energy which enthralled the whole school premises. Prizes were distributed among the students for various achievements throughout the year.
The certificates were given to students who had received gold, silver and bronze in Olympiad, and also got certificates from Helpage India for their contribution.
Special guest Balwant Thakur, Regional Director Indian Council for Cultural Relations praised the efforts by Principal and managing committee of Shemrock International.
Among all present in the function B L Sharma , Zonal Educational Officer, Kuldip Magotra, O P Sharma, Parshotam Bhardwaj, Chairman. Vote of thanks was presented by Director Shemrock International School Bharti Bhardwaj.
