JAMMU, Nov 13: Shifali Jamwal, born in Jammu, has been crowned as Mrs. Universe America in a glittering Beauty Pageant held in Seattle, here today.
Her commitment to Sustainability, Environment Conservation and Community Upliftment won the hearts of many.
The pageant was organized by AmPowering.org in Renton.
Speaking on the occasion, Shifali described herself as a “child of the planet”, driven by a dream to coexist harmoniously with Mother Nature.
She has set a goal of creating a lasting impact, ensuring that future generations inherit a green planet with clean air and drinkable water.
Her advocacy for environmental consciousness led her to co-found Live2Serve, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting the planet and uplifting vulnerable communities, including children and animals.
Shifali was raised in a military family, her father having retired as a Brigadier from Indian Army.
She attributes her strength and resilience to witnessing her parents overcome challenges with determination.
Shifali is now preparing to represent the United States internationally in the world Mrs Universe pageant to be held in Philippines next year.
With this new title, Shifali aims to amplify her efforts and advocate for a sustainable future on global stage.
This phenomenal achievement by Shifali has brought glory, pride and honour not only to the Dogras but to our UT and our Nation as well.
