‘Shift Asif to AIIMS in Air Ambulance’

SRINAGAR, June 2: J&K RTI Movement has demanded that Mohammad Asif, a 14 year old boy from Dachan Beerwah who was injured seriously in a blast at Tosamaidan on May 25 should be shifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Air Ambulance.
In a handout Chairman RTI Movement, Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat demanded that the Government must arrange air ambulance to shift Mohammad Asif to AIIMS, New Delhi as he needs specialized treatment which is not possible in Kashmir.
“Asif is on ventilator for the last eight days. His brain has been damaged. Authorities at the helm have not visited his family which is matter of serious concern,” Bhat stated adding that today Rs 10,000 send through a Sarpanch have been returned back by Asif’s family as the same could have been provided by some senior Government official personally.
