Shinde to visit J&K by Aug end

JAMMU, Aug 8: Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, who had recently taken over the charge of the Ministry from P Chidambaram, would be visiting Jammu and Kashmir by the end of this month.
Earlier, he was scheduled to visit the State on August 10 and 11, which was reported by a news agency.
However, official sources said, in view of his pre-occupation in Monsoon session of Parliament and Independence Day celebrations, Mr Shinde has decided to undertake visit to Jammu and Kashmir by the end of August.
Mr Shinde had recently taken over as the Home Minister from P Chidambaram. He has also been elevated as Leader of Lok Sabha in place of Pranab Mukherjee, who has been elected as the President.
