JAMMU, Nov 13: Senior Congress leader, Surinder Singh Shingari, having mass contact in the Jammu West has been given the mandate to contest the election from Jammu West Constituency on Congress ticket.
His name was selected amongst the number of probables due to his mass popularity in the entire Jammu West segment. After being given the mandate he was welcomed by District and block presidents. He was given rousing reception at the party head quarter at Residency Road Jammu by all the other senior members of the Congress party.
Immediately after getting the party mandate he was taken in procession by huge mass of thousands of workers throughout the vicinity of Bakshi Nagar, Maheshpura, Old Gurha, Christan Colony and the people assured to make him successful with huge margins.
