NAGROTA, Nov 06: Kick-starting the election campaign, senior Congress leader and Ex MLA Shiv Dev Singh conducted a tour of various villages of Nagrota Assembly Constituency and addressed a series of public meetings.
While addressing the public meetings Shiv Dev highlighted the policies and programmes of Congress aimed for the welfare of common masses, particularly deprived sections of the society.
He underlined that only Congress can provide a stable and secular Government in Jammu and Kashmir for ensuring equitable development of all three regions of the State.
Singh also cautioned people from the communal forces, which were hell bent to divide people on religious and regional lines for vote bank politics. He appealed people to vote and support the party in Assembly elections. During his hectic poll campaign, Shiv Dev also interacted with the villagers who assured their full support to Shiv Dev exuding sincerity and loyalty towards the Congress throughout his political career of two decades.
