JAMMU, Feb 26: The 87th Shiv Jayanti was celebrated here today at Rajinder Nagar Bantalab with the collaboration of Meditation Center, Brahma Kumaris.
All the connecting centres like Talab Tilloo, Vijaypur, Bishnah, Chak Shama, Poonch, Vaishno Devi Katra and Bhaderwah also participated with Incharge Brahma Kumari teachers.
The chief guest was Director School Education Jammu, Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma while Rakesh Parihar, SSP Operation Baramulla and JMC Councillor, Kapil Chib also participated in the event.
Candle lighting was performed with colourful dance by small kids
Shiv Dhwaj was hoisted by Brahma Kumari Sudarshan.
Rajyogi Ravinder welcomed the guests and gave introduction about Brahma Kumaris.
All took the pledge to obey the Shrimat practically in daily activities. Toli was distributed and this was followed by Godly message by Brahma Kumari Sudarshan, Incharge J&K and Ladakh.
Sushma, Neeru, Asha, Sudesh, Shardha, Rajni, Anju and others also participated.
Brahma Kumari Kusum Lata presented the vote of thanks.
