JAMMU, Oct 18: State vice president of Chamber of Traders Federation(CTF), Shiv Kumar Gupta has been accorded the charge as new acting president of the CTF.
In an urgent meeting held at the office of Chamber of Traders Federation (CTF), the charge of acting president was handed over to Shiv Kumar Gupta, vice president of the Federation.
The office bearers decided that it had become imperative to hand over the charge to vice president since the president, Neeraj Anand and Raman Gupta senior vice president have joined Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) recently.
In his address to the office bearers, Neeraj Anand assured that he will continue to work for the betterment of the Trading community with same zeal, though new political platform. The same sentiments were echoed by Raman Gupta.
The office bearers assured to Anand that his good work and initiatives that helped CTF gain a formidable name at State as well as National level under his leadership, would be taken forward with same enthusiasm.
In the meeting, it was also decided to accord a formal farewell to Neeraj Anand and Raman Gupta in the coming days. The office bearers also extended good wishes to the Trade leaders on starting their political inning.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were, Dinesh Gupta, Tushar Mahajan, Ajay Gupta and Parag Abrol.
