UDHAMPUR, Oct 26: The renowned writer, historian and Padmashri awardee Prof Shiv Nirmohi released his 41st book “Duggar Ke Sangeet Saadhak”, at his residence, in the presence of well known archaeologist and writer, Anil Paba and noted writer and columnist Ashok Sharma.
On this occasion, his spouse Anusuya was also present.
Ashok Sharma, while speaking on the occasion termed Prof Nirmohi as great heritage warrior and lauded his role in documenting the priceless heritage of Duggar.
Anil Paba recalled his long association with Prof Nirmohi and said that his valuable contribution in promotion and preservation of Dogra culture and heritage.
On the occasion, Prof Nirmohi said that this book is an attempt to highlight the artists who had contributed a lot in the field of music in Duggar. He said he would continue to write as long as he can.
