JAMMU, Oct 31: Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery) today announced its new Jammu and Kashmir unit.
State President of the party Dimpy Kohli while talking to media persons declared the name of new office bearers. He said Manish Sahni will be the general secretary while Rajeev Bhandari and Rajan Gupta will be senior vice-presidents.
Kohli said Adhwani Gupta will be working president, Raj Singh and Nathpal Choudhary as secretaries, Sunrendra Mahajan as vice president, Vikas Patel as vice secretary and Rakesh Kak as spokesman.
Dimpy Kohli said that this new State unit was announced on the directions of party High Command . He said that party High Command has given clear cut directions that in the forthcoming Panchayat elections party will field candidates on all seats and for winning all the seats it is necessary to reconstitute the party. He said that party is getting stronger day by day and will win all the seats in the forthcoming Panchayat elections.
General secretary, Manish Sahhni further said that Shiv Sena strongly warns the Hurriyat leaders of the State for speaking in support of Pakistan. He asked the Hurriyat to mend its ways otherwise Shiv Sena can teach them a lesson. He also urged the Modi Government to snap all bilateral ties with Pakistan and there should be no talks on DRMO level also.
Ashwani Gupta, working president of Sena said that on one hand Narendra Modi is trying to expose Pakistan before the world and on the other hand the Union Government has opened channels of diplomacy with it which will not be acceptable.
During the press conference, Sena leaders, Romesh Gupta, Raju Salaria, and Pawan Singh were also present.
