JAMMU, June 2: Shiv Sena (Balasaheb Thackeray) has demanded mass promotion of all students to next level without conducting examination due to pandemic of COVID-19.
While highlighting his demand, the State unit president, Manish Sahni said that the cases of COVID-19 were increasing drastically in the entire country including J&K and it was need of the hour that students should be promoted to next level without conducting any examination, so that their future should not be affected.
Sahni said that in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray Govt had decided to promote all the students of the 1st, 2nd and final year of Degree on the basis of their last semester performance. He has appealed the Lieutenant Governor to take the similar decision for the mass promotion of all students in J&K UT.
