Shiv Sena demands allowance for unemployed youth

JAMMU, Feb 9: Shiv Sena here today staged a protest demonstration against increasing unemployment and demanded that allowance should be paid to the unemployed youth.
The protesters said that PM Modi and Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha should give Rs. 5000 monthly to unemployment youth as allowance.
The protest was led by Manish Sahni, Shiv Sena J&K president and the protesters raised slogans in favour of their demands which also included four years age relaxation in Government jobs and early execution of pending recruitments along with withdrawal of the decision of cancellation of post advertised by PSC and SSB before October 31, 2019.
Addressing the protesters Sahni said that present Government is proving to be a complete failure in providing employment to the youth as J&K ranks fourth in the country in terms of unemployment.
He said that the recruitment process for the posts referred to SSB in the year 2020 is also incomplete and same is the case with the posts of Junior Assistant, Junior Scale Stenographer, Field Assistant, Election Assistant etc.
The Shiv Sena leader also demanded recruitment for Border Battalion Force.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; chairman, Rakesh Gupta and others were also present in the protest.
