Shiv Sena demands ban on Hurriyat Conference

JAMMU, Dec 31: The State unit of Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackeray) today made a strong appeal to the Central Government to ban Hurriyat Conference alleging that their leaders are directly or indirectly supporting Pakistan based militant organizations.
In a press release issued here, State president of Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackeray), Dimpy Kohli, said that it is very unfortunate that people belonging to Hurriyat Conference while living in India are openly supporting militant organizations. He said that this has come to notice now with the involvement of Asiya Andrabi in recruitment of youth of the country for ISIS.
He said the time has come for Central Government to interfere in the matter as this is a very serious security lapse.
Kohli said that now with the episode of Asiya Andrabi, Indian Government has been left with no other option but to ban Hurriyat Conference and its allied organizations for the welfare of country and its youth.
