Shiv Sena demands better facilities for COVID patients

JAMMU, Sept 14: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray J&K unit has expressed concern over the increasing cases of Coronavirus in J&K amidst extending the scope of rapid testing.
Shiv Sena activists in a protest demonstration led by J&K Shiv Sena president, Manish Sahni demanded review of health sector.
He demanded that J&K LG, Manoj Sinha should visit the Government hospitals to ensure availability of beds and direct private hospitals too to accommodate COVID cases.
Sahni claimed that without correcting the system, rapid testing is being carried out due to which there is a surge in number of Coronavirus patients.
He also said that there is a dire need to improve facilities at quarantine centers and hospitals.
Sahni further said that there is a situation of fear among the people due to lack of facilities at prominent hospitals of the city.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; working President, Ashwini Gupta; General Secretary, Vikas Bakshi; Secretary, Raj Singh, Sanjeev Soodan, Raju Handa, Geeta Rani and others also participated in the protest.
