JAMMU, Apr 29: J&K Unit of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray has expressed concern over no registration of the people in the age group of 18-44 years for COVID vaccination and non-availability of oxy-meters in the market.
Addressing a press conference here today Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni demanded better care for home isolators and sanitation drive across J&K.
He said that second wave of COVID is proving more dangerous and vaccination is the only hope to overcome the pandemic wherein the government has also announced vaccination of people in the age group of 18-44 years from May 1 but unfortunately the registration process for that has yet not started in J&K.
Sahni urged upon J&K LG to pay special attention towards this issue.
He also demanded medical kits with other necessary immunity boosting medicines to Corona infected people who are in self isolation.
The Shiv Sena leader also demanded door to door vaccination and testing campaign and appealed to the people at large to get vaccinated at the earliest.
