JAMMU, Jan 28: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K has demanded an end to the dual power system in J&K and restoration of Statehood.
While speaking at a joining programme here today, Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni also demanded bringing the Police force under J&K Government with accountability.
About two dozen youth have joined Shiv Sena during the joining programme.
Sahni said that terrorists are trying to establish their foothold in Jammu division while incidents of crime, drug trafficking, gang war, bovine smuggling, crime against women are increasing constantly.
He quoted the recent firing incident of Jewel area and flayed the working of Police.
“Not only this, asking any question about Police force and the security in J&K in the Legislative Assembly has also been banned and permission of the Lieutenant Governor has been made necessary for that,” the Shiv Sena leader maintained adding: “What kind of democratic system is being imposed on J&K?”
Meenakshi Chhibber, Vikas Bakshi, Bharat Mahajan, Balwant Singh, Rohan Malwal, Manjeet Singh, Amit Sharma, Saksham, Harsh Kumar, Aman Verma, Arpit Sharma and Vishal Kumar were also present on the occasion.
