KISHTWAR, July 23: Tilak Shan president Shiv Sena Chenab Valley has demanding lowering of helicopter service fare from Gulabgarh -Paddar to Machail Mata temple in Kishtwar area of Jammu division.
He informed during last year tariff was Rs 5130 for two way journey while now the new rates for the helicopter service from Gulabgarh-Paddar to Mata Machail Bhawan has been hiked to Rs 7580 and it takes only 7-8 minutes to reach the temple shrine.
He added all those who plan to travel religious Machail Mata temple via helicopter will now have to pay more for the journey.
Shan demands cut in tariff sand said that it might cost reduction in the number of pilgrims and it would discourage families from undertaking the pilgrimage.
