JAMMU, Oct 25: Shiv Sena J&K unit has demanded a separate State for Jammu region and urged upon the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah to concede this demand.
In a protest demonstration led by Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni the protesters were carrying placards and raising slogans in favour of their demand.
Addressing protesters, Sahni said that Amit Shah took a historic decision on August 5, 2019 and revoked Article 370 and 35-A from J&K.
“Now the time has come to secure the future of Jammuites for which the Central Government should take another bold decision of announcing Jammu a separate State,” he maintained.
The Shiv Sena leader claimed that this will be the only option to maintain and preserve the Dogra culture and identity without any distortion and to end injustice being suffered by the Jammu region.
