JAMMU, Oct 16: Following results of the recently held J&K Assembly elections, Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit here today organized an introspection meeting which was chaired by Shiv Sena J&K chief, Manish Sahni.
During the meeting the State and district units of the party were dissolved with immediate effect following instructions from the party high command and an 11 member executive committee was formed.
A handout of Shiv Sena stated that on the recommendations of this committee, the State and district units will soon be reorganized and candidates for the upcoming elections for local bodies and Panchayats will be selected.
Speaking in the meeting Sahni said that strong brotherhood and regional equality is expected from the newly formed J&K Government.
Meenakshi Chhibber, Baby Kaul, Vikas Bakshi, Sanjeev Kohli, Balwant Singh, Jai Bharat, Rajesh Jandial, Dr. Bharat Gupta, Raj Singh, Malik Bashir and Geeta Lakhotra were included in the executive committee.
