JAMMU, Mar 26: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit has extended full support to Congress candidates on both the Lok Sabha seats of Jammu division.
In a press conference here today, J&K Shiv Sena president, Manish Sahni said under a well-planned strategy, security is not being provided to Shiv Sena leaders.
He claimed that issues like restoration of Statehood to J&K, safe return of Kashmiri Pandits and restoration of peace along with the demands like protection of cultural identity of J&K under Section 371 and reservation in employment and education for the local people are worrying the locals here.
Sahni said that free electricity and water should be the right of J&K people.
“We protested many times against installation of smart power meters, levying of Property Tax, toll plaza, water bills etc,” he maintained adding that Congress candidates for Jammu-Reasi and Kathua-Udhampur seats, Raman Bhalla and Chaudhary Lal Singh respectively have always raised public voice and Shiv Sena will fully support these leaders.
Shiv Sena women wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi and secretary, Rajesh Handa were also present in the press conference.
