Shiv Sena flays Agniveer Recruitment Scheme

JAMMU, June 25: Shiv Sena J&K flayed the entitlement of 75 per cent youths to four years’ service without pension under the Agniveer Recruitment Scheme.
Addressing media persons here today Manish Sahni, president Shiv Sena J&K claimed strong resentment among youth across the country against Agniveer scheme.
He said that the scheme is ‘killing’ the aspirations of millions of youth who want to join armed forces and serve the nation.
The Shiv Sena leader said that 75 per cent youth who will join army through Agnipath scheme would become unemployed at the end of fourth year.
He said that despite not completing their tenures, MPs and MLAs have been given the right of two pensions, but the unemployed youth of the country are being messed by giving them only four years of jobs without any pension.
