JAMMU, Sept 1: Gearing up for the upcoming Municipal and Panchayat polls in J&K, Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K Unit here today announced formation of its State Core Committee.
The announcement came after a meeting of senior party leaders at Jammu which was chaired by Manish Sahni, president Shiv Sena J&K Unit.
Nine member Core Committee included Meenakshi Chhibber, Sanjeev Kohli, Raj Singh, Balwant Singh, Vikas Bakshi, Raju Handa, Mamta Devi and Sukhvinder Kaur.
Speaking on the occasion Sahni said that decision to form the Core Committee was taken under the guidance of Shiv Sena national secretary and Member of Parliament, Anil Desai.
Apart from this, Balwant Singh, Raj Singh and Sanjeev Kohli have been appointed as Coordinators for upcoming 41st Shri Mata Vaishno Devi holy pilgrimage.
