Shiv Sena launches ‘Mai Bhi Ek Sanik’ campaign, revives party unit

UDHAMPUR, Sept 25: The Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit today launched “Mai Bhi Ek Sanik” campaign aiming to safeguard the cultural identity, education, and rights of the local populace, as well as make their city free from substance abuse and crime and the ongoing democratic process.
Under the leadership of Manish Sahni, State president Shiv Sena, party workers of Udhampur unit reached out to the public door-to-door, urging them to become a part of the “Mai Bhi Ek Sanik” campaign to take the fight for their rights to a crucial juncture.
Sahni emphasized that the abrogation of Article 370 has stripped our J&K state of its status and the restoration of democratic processes is still pending. He pointed out that outsiders are dominating our jobs, businesses and education today while local youth are struggling for employment opportunities and the burden of economic recession, inflation and unemployment is increasing the woes of the people.
“Terrorism, along with drug addiction and crime, is on the rise,” Sahni said and urged everyone to get unite and take their fight for rights to a decisive phase, making J&K prosperous and a pride of the nation once again.
Meanwhile, Sahni while reorganizing the district unit, appointed Ajay Sharma and Rajesh Verma as district general secretaries, Anil Raina, Sunil, Nalesh, Kuldeep Sharma and Madan Lal as vice presidents, Chand Mohan and Birju Thakur as secretary while Sahil Gandotra as president Youth unit, Bhanu Pratap as vice president, Vishal Verma as secretary, Aditya Chanyal as City president, Rahul as vice president and Rajesh Sharma as general secretary.
On the occasion, dozens of youth, influenced by the policies and ideas of the Shiv Sena, joined the Party.
President Women’s wing Meenakshi Chhibber, general secretary Vikas Bakshi, president Udhampur Sanjeev Sharma, vice president Rajindra Arora, chairman Joginder Verma and Dalip Arora were also present.
